Job Roles of a Multi-Camera

Camera Operator

Duty 

The Duty of a Camera Operator is to be able to carry heavy equipment and you will need to have good stamina.
 Camera Operator you need to have a strong understanding with the technology and you will need to have knowledge about the relevant electronics and you need to have strong knowledge of how Camera works.
Another duty for Camera Operator is that you, need to operate one of few Cameras by capturing images at the same time(Multi-Camera) while taking directions from the director.

Skills
  • The Skill of a Camera Operator is that they need to be a able frame and compose shots and perform camera moves with accuracy and speed such as you need, to be able to be accurate and sharp with the way the Camera moves .
  • A Skill of a Camera Operator is that you need to have good communication skills and show diplomacy and sensitivity when working with the artist and the production staff and crew.

Sound Mixing 

Duty 

The Duty of  Sound Mixing is that they need to know how to solve any technical problems which come up before or during a sound recording session, another Duty of a Sound Mixer is that they need to know how to balance the creative requirements of the director with any technical capabilities of available.
The Duty of Sound mixing is to be familiar with the systems and equipment within each studio or OB facility.
Another Duty of sound mixing is that they need be on time with the precise equipment

Skills

  • The skill of a sound mixing is that you need to have in depth and hands-on experience of all aspect of the capture, recording, mixing and amplification of sound  
  • A skill of sound mixing is that you need to have excellent communication skills, including diplomacy and sensitivity when working with actors, presenters, other contributors, and crew member
  • Another skill is that you need to be able to offer suitable ideas when picture requirements lead to less than sound quality.

Vision mixing

The Duty of a vision mixer is that you need to be able to work on a variety of different vision mixing desks and equipment.The next Duty of a vision mixer is that you need to have a high level of concentration and stamina ,for this work ,another Duty of vision mixing is that you need to have knowledge of the requirements of the relevant health and safety laws and procedures.

  • The skill of a vision mixer is they need to have good sense of rhythm in order to produce accurate and sensitive transition.
  •  Another Skill is that you need have excellent visual and awareness,combined with artistic and aesthetic abilities
  • A skill of vision mixing that you need to be able to multitask for example do something but at the same time using the equipment.

Directing 

Duty 

The Duty of directing is that you need to be able to lead a team and motivate actors and crew members,There duty is to look and sound of production and it's technical standards,they work closely with producers and writers trying to enhancing, refining and realizing the original idea into the finished program.

  • The skill of directing is that they need to have a logical approach to work and along with high stress tolerance and stamina

Set designer 

Duty 

The Duty of Set designer is that you need to have a knowledge of the production process,including technical aspect such as lightning and sound,another Duty is that you need to have a good eye for detail.The Duty of a set designer is that you need to have a budget awareness
The Duty of a set designer is the one who creates the layout such as decorating the scene.

Skills

  • For a set designer you need to have good effective skills such as drawing and model making.

The Qualification that is required  is that you need to have need to have a arts related HND or you need to have a degree.

Lighting Desk

Duty

The Duty of a Lighting Desk,they are the ones who takes care of the lights and they also prepare were the lights need to be set on the stage and they need to be on time for work because they are the ones which checks the lighting if there working or not and they make sure that the lighting bulbs and screen are in place so in order they can film. 
Another lighting duty is that you need to carry out any risk assessment and a health and safety in case one of the colleagues gets injured. 
Skills
  • The skills of a Lighting Desk is that you need to have to have good creativity and problem-solving, because you will be able to solve out were the bulbs go and you can experiment with the lighting.
  • A skill is that you need to have communication skills and people skills as this is accentual to the team. 
  • And they especially need to have good colour vision because if there color vision is bad then this lighting job would not be suitable for them because the light's are all the same colours along side with the buttons.

Qualification 

The Qualification for this is that you need to have a PLASA national rigging certificate by having this you have the right skill and you have the right knowledge to work at a professional standard.


Floor Manager

Duty

The Duty of a Floor Manager is that they have to inform the director and the producer of the camera and they are the ones who is managing the studio floor, they also help plan the show they share there ideas to the Directors
A Floor Manager has to understand the whole show in case they need to makes changes to the set,props,etc,
another thing that a Floor Manager has to do is that they need to deal with technical issues during the show.

Skills 

  • The skills for a Floor Manager is that you need to have good communication skills and planning and organizing skills.
  • another skill is that they need to be able to work under pressure and they must have good composure.
  •  Floor Managers should know other technical positions in a studio.

Graphics generation

Duty

The Duty of a Graphics generator is someone who produces the titles to any TV show such as the Typography and they are the ones who sorts out the layout of title of any TV show and it makes the show interesting.
The Duties of a Graphics generator is that they need to understand and to be able to use the software.
Another Duty is that they are the ones who are responsible of typesetting,illustration and web design.

VT Operator

Duty

The Duty of a VT Operator is that they are the ones who is in charge of preparing the footage and they will insert the footage onto the program and the VT Operator is the one that operates the video tape equipment to record and play back the program and it reads the program, and they make sure that it is saved
The VT Operator are responsible for action replays and quickly editing highlights while the show is still going on.Another Duty of a VT Operator is that they need to be reliable such as taking charge of the video tapes, making sure nothing is lost.

Skills

  • The VT Operator need to have good communication skills and organisation skills.
  • The VT Operator need to be able to work in a team.
  • A VT Operator needs to be able to think quickly and act quickly.

Presenter

Duty

The Duty of a Presenter is simple because they are the ones who are the important one in the show and they and as part of there job they need to have to do some research and they need to have good interview skills and your knowledge needs to be good because that how they get there information.
Another Duty is that that you need to have a good relationship with the audience.
A presenter need to be on time and they need to be reliable because then they can get show the content live but if they are late it will slow things down and the filming won't be done.

Skills

  • The skill for a good presenter is that you need to be able to retain the information such as having a good memory.
  • another skill for a presenter is that you must have good performance skills and your voice need to have a clear voice because if you do not have a clear voice the audience would not be able to here you so it's good to have a loud and clear voice.
  • The Final skill of becoming a good presenter is that you need to have a strong personality because with a low moral you won't be motivated to perform and with confident.
